Whisky Menu
Whisky Tasting Lessons Available upon request
Spearsong Whisky - 86 ABV - 1100
A golden single malt Hingan Whisky. The nose features hints of fruit, including peach, grapefruit, pineapple and candied orange, along with spices such as clove and orange. This whisky also has notes of rich coconut and tart cranberry, while the long finish features spicy ginger and cinnamon. The Bee's Spear - 60 ABV - 800 gil
A delightful honey whisky with the help from The Honey Yard. Bee careful, as the whisky will sneak up and sting you on its own in spite of how smooth it goes down.
--------
Ifrit's Egi - 80 ABV - 900 gil
The precursor and safer cousin to Ifrit's Wrath, this cinnamon whisky is sweet and spicy with a clean taste that leaves no stickiness to the lips.
--------
The Happy Hearth - 60 ABV - 1000 gil
A simple vanilla whisky with notes of star anise and ginger. Utayuu's personal favorite and what she serves guests to her home (limited release)
IC Rules
Spearsong is meant to be a venue to experience new things and be who you want in a safe environment. So to make sure everyone has fun:
First and foremost. You HAVE to do or try something new while you are here (we stick to this rule too)
The Patron must be of legal age to drink
All drinks and food prices are IC currency only, you do not need to pay with actual gil. Tips are appreciated though.
When drinking Ifrit's Wrath, try and keep MOST of your clothes on
No weapons drawn in the premises, for the safety of guests and yourself ;)
Try and keep all interactions civil. NO FIGHTING, else you'll hurt Reede's feelings.
We all love to flirt, but keep anything adult rated to tells. There are plenty of other venues for this kind of RP
If you pass out while doing a drinking game, Uta WILL tuck you in the local Inn, probably with a pat on the head.
Any Questions can be directed to Utayuu Rokuyari in game or via Discord at Chime#1048

Studious Peach Smash

Ginger beer, lime sparkling water, cucumber, and lime juice on freshly-crushed ice. Served in an Ul'dahn brass mug
Shiva's Dew
Non-Alcoholic Gin and blue Curaçao Syrup gets a loving treatment with lemonade, fresh lime and lemon edges, and a cherry garnish. Expect a loving chill when imbibed!
Ifrit's Embers

Ramuh's Rumble
A chilled black tea base carries a homemade Salted Lime Cordial, fresh ginger beer, and is garnished with a lime wedge. Is that tingle static electricity, or just the bubbles in the drink?
Elemental Whiskies
The Whisky Witch's Magical Game of Body and Mind
When drinking Spearsong's elemental whiskies, one should keep track of how the building combination of alchemy and spellcraft affect the body. These come in THREE tracks to keep up with: Temperature, Sensitivity, and Inhibitions. The effects of each track manifest as physical or mental and you are free to do either or both of them!
- If an effect says +/- XXX (Roll), you roll /random and add or subtract that to the given track
- If an effect says +/- XXX you add or subtract 250 to that trackIf you wish to SIMPLIFY the game, merely get rid of the -250 rules and just focus on the opposed tracks.
Temperature/Passion - This track is added to when drinking from whiskies that incite the body and mind to heat with passion when one's score is high. This can be a passion for anything and isn't inherently amorous. When the temperature score is low, the imbiber becomes Cold both physically and emotionally. When Drinking Drinks that effect Temperature, if you get a score of over 1000, the imbiber's heat and passion are TOO MUCH MAN and they must satisfy either the heat of the body or the heat of the mind. This can be by either expressing your desires candidly, shedding clothing, dunking your head in ice, or anything that would cool you off! This will grant the imbiber a -500 to their temperature score. When the temperature score goes below -1000, the imbiber's body and mind grow too cold and must do something to heat them up. Ways to warm up can include cuddling up with someone, receiving an unexpected thoughtful gift, or anything that would warm the body or soul. Doing so will grant the imbiber a +500 to their temperature score.
Sensitivity - This track is added to when drinking from whiskies that excited the nerves of the body and mind. This manifests in an increase in one's senses when high, improving reactions and body sensitivity. When the sensitivity score is low, the imbiber becomes calm and numb, depending on the imbiber. When Drinking Drinks that effect sensitivity, if you get a score of over 1000, the imbiber's sensitivity and reflexes are TOO MUCH MAN and they must deal discharge it! This can be by either suffering a accidental overload of senses via touch or take some time to sit, and meditate, stating things they are grateful for, any big show of excising the high sensitivity This will grant the imbiber a -500 to their sensitivity score. When the temperature score goes below -1000, the imbiber's body and mind grow too numb and calm and must do something to excite their dormant thoughts and nerves. Ways to do this are to be given a pleasant surprise by another patron (or a slap, up to you), or any other activity that will stimulate the nerves and body! Doing so will grant the imbiber a +500 to their sensitivity score.
Inhibitions/Weight - This track is added to when drinking from whiskies affect the imbiber's inhibitions and their body weight. High scores his manifests in an increase in the weight of ones body and the more control over ones wants and desires. Low scores decrease the weight of ones body and release one from the social burdens of life, doing as they fancy. When Drinking Drinks that effect Inhibitions, if you get a score of over 1000, the imbiber's inhibitions and weight are TOO MUCH MAN and they must deal give it an outlet! This can be done by either finding levity in a serious situation or by accidentally breaking something or suffering an embarrassment due to the increased seriousness and body weight. This will grant the imbiber a -500 to their inhibition score. When the Inhibition score goes below -1000, the imbiber's grows light in both body in mind, seeking their latest fancy and being able to dance upon the wind and one must find a way to ground oneself. Ways to do this are to Let LOOSE, following their fancy and acting on impulse, or float about the room, causing a small scene and eventually falling back down due to gravity or going a bit too far with their own ideas. Doing so will grant the imbiber a +500 to their inhibition score.

Beer, Wine, and More
Beer, Ale, & Lager
* Darrington Co Pale Ale. A light, refreshing wheat ale. A good start for a first-time drinker, or a first drink of a long night.
* Ishgard Holy Reserve Lager. A full-bodied lager, this malty reserve with notes of apple is favorite of knights (and the occassional sneaky priest).
* First's Finest Stout. A robust stout imported from Garlemald's First Company, and still a little bitter about it. Notes of chocolate and roasted coffee.
* Golden Brothers' Angry Dragoon IPA. Much like an angry dragoon, it enjoys striking rapidly with impressive hops and a hearty kick of citrus.
Wine
* Admiral's Choice Cabernet Sauvignon. A commonly praised red wine with tastes of black cherry and baking spices. How they got permission for the Admiral's likeness is anyone's guess.
* Hammerhand Vineyard Pinot Noir. A lighter red wine with notes of cherry, cranberry, and rose, Hammerhand Vineyards claim the fallen foes of the nearby Gridanian battlefields made the soil especially fertile.
* Costa Del Sol Chardonnay. A favorite of those on summer vacation on the beaches, this refreshing white wine has notes of caramel, pineapple, and lemon.
* Crystal Palace Sauvignon Blanc. Once reserved only for Ishgardian nobles, this white wine boasts aggressive citrus notes with mango and mint.
Mead
Courtesy of our partners at the The Wanderer's Reprieve
* Spring Wanderer. This delightful cherry mead is the perfect start to your year.
* Summer Wanderer. A berry mead formed of strawberry, blackberry, and raspberry, this refreshing mead is just the balm after a warm day.
* Fall Wanderer. An apple mead that lends well to crunching leaves and caramel.
* Winter Wanderer. A Hingashi-influenced mead, the flavors of strawberry and kiwi are a favorite next to a roaring fire while snow gently falls outside.
* All Saint's (October Seasonal). A robust pumpkin mead that is a verified treat to inspire wicked tricks.
Sake
* Yukikage Futsushu. A common table sake, notes of nuts, honey, and lemon peel make this "snow shadow" an enjoyable drink with friends.
* Sakura Junmai. The bright pink bottle could have been what inspired Utayuu's hair color, and the flavors of cream, light fruit, and cherry blossom may inspire you, too.
* 'The Philosopher' Ginjo. Allegedly inspired by a traveling philosopher from Eorzea, this sake's notes of banana and ripe honeydew make it a surprising favorite among even traditionalist sake experts.
* Ryuji Daiginjo. With it's unique black bottle with a pair of entwined golden dragons, this sake's robust pear flavor makes it an exquisite experience.
